Carlos Coffman, author of Jumping Rope the Second Time Around founded the IROPE Fitness Program more than 30 years ago and has since inspired the young and young at heart to take a second look at the amazing benefits of a jump rope workout as well as his unorthodox style of multi-directional and backward twirling technique of jump roping.
The IROPE Fitness Program has been seen in action throughout the US at 5K up to full marathon races and demonstrated in Accra, Ghana and Cotonou, Benin in West Africa.
To date, Carlos has successfully completed over 400 foot races including 100 26.2 mile marathons all while using the IROPE Rope Walking technique. He has also been featured in various print and online publications over the years including the Washington Post and the Army Times news papers.

Learn the basics of the IROPE Fitness Program in a 60 minute session. You will learn the philosophy of the IROPE style of jump roping and be introduced to the primary backward twirling and multi-directional movement technique.

Build on your basic knowledge of the IROPE techniques and develop the skills needed to integrate into your own personal workout regiment
5K Training Challenge
On Your Mark, Get Ready, Get Set, and GO!!!!
Challenge yourself to complete a 5K (3.1 Miles) distance. Get personal 1-on-1 instruction on how to complete a 3.1 mile challenge course. You'll develop the skills and confidence to complete a 5k distance through your neighborhood or in an organized event.
